Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Welcome to the website for the San Diego Association of School Counselors. SDCASC
is a local organization made up of school counselors, counselor educators, and other
support service colleagues. As an organization, we are committed to advocating for
school counselors, increasing inter-district communication and building a strong
voice for counselors throughout San Diego County.
With the 2009-2010 school year well under way, we are in the process of planning
meetings, social events and trainings for SDCASC members. We will keep you updated
on all of these, as well as other topics of interest to members.
We hope you find the new website helpful. It is a work in progress and we welcome
your constructive comments. Our goal is that this website evolves into a platform
for local counselors to communicate and share resources.
We look forward to an increased membership of SDCASC, especially from graduate students
preparing to enter the exciting career of school counseling.
During these challenging times of cutbacks in California Education, we hope to provide
support and a place to connect with your fellow counselors.
